簡介：朝鮮王朝時期，千京秀（柳俊烈 飾）是一個奇怪的盲人，他白天不見一物，生活在絕對黑暗之中，到了夜晚則恢復視力。于是本為醫(yī)者的他便隱藏著這個秘密，每到夜晚便苦學醫(yī)術，最終成為了國王仁宗（柳海真 飾）信賴和后宮佳麗毫不設防的御醫(yī)。這一天，他奉仁宗旨意去為世子看病，結(jié)果半盲的秘密卻不小心被世子參破。適值風雨飄搖時期，世子之位尚且不保，因此他十分理解京秀的苦衷。哪想到好景不長，不久后京秀便在黑暗中目睹了眾太醫(yī)殺害世子的恐怖一幕。得知世子身亡，仁宗悲痛欲絕，下令嚴查行兇之人。
